Introduction

The University of Hong Kong Employees Union (The Union) was founded in 1993 according to the Trade Union Ordinances. Members can enjoy different kinds of benefits.

As a statutory organization, with support from the University of Hong Kong, The Union is committed to protecting the rights and safeguarding the welfare of its members.

To enhance members’ understanding and sense of belonging to The Union, The Union organizes activities and publishes newsletters regularly.


Aims and Services

   1. serves as the bridge of communication between the members and the management.
   2. holds meetings regularly with the University management team to strengthen the communication and connection with each other.
   3. organizes recreational activities regularly, such as visiting various organizations and companies, trips,
      and meal gatherings to strengthen the friendship between colleagues.
   4. organizes refresher courses regularly, so that members can enhance their working ability to meet the needs of contemporary society.
   5. safeguards the labour rights and welfare of  members through legal means.
   6. provides special discounts for our members, such as The Federation of Hong Kong & Kowloon Labour Unions.
